Michigan Park

The Michigan Park neighborhood is one of the best areas to live in the city of Whittier. It shouts out character with the charming tree lined streets, the quaint curb appeal of each home, and you can tell it's an established neighborhood. It's surrounded by beautiful craftsman ,colonial, ranch, cottage, and victorian style homes.

Driving through the area you can see each home owner has pride of ownership. Residents of the Michigan Park area are very involved in the community, whether it be neighborhood block parties, seasonal craft sales, or even having a great conversation with a neighbor while watering the grass.

Michigan Park is also a great place to take your kids. There are two play areas, one is gated so you feel safe having your kids play, and the other is for toddlers. It is a beautiful park surrounded by oak and pine trees.

The Michigan Park neighborhood also has an amazing school district. East Whittier Presbyterian Preschool, Ocean View Elementary and East Whittier Middle School are all ranked great schools in Whittier.

Michigan Park is close to all the new restaurants in Uptown Whittier, local shops, and not far from the Whittwood town center. However, it is far enough from the freeways that you feel like you're in the suburbs.

All in all, it is a win win to be a part of this Beautiful neighborhood called Michigan Park.
